This comic tells the story of a character who, inspired by her sisters stories about how easy the trek was, decides to go on her very first hike to Everest Base Camp at 5500 meters. Not knowing what awaits her, she suddenly finds herself in a situation where a supposedly "light walk" turns into one of the toughest challenges of her life.
The story is very real - I created this comic based on my own experience and the notes I took along the way. In it, I tried to share my feelings and emotions, and to immerse the reader in the atmosphere of this incredible place.
The visual language of the comic is expressive and slightly ironic, working hand in hand with the text. The book is structured like a travel diary: day by day we walk the entire path together with the main character. You'll find wide scenic spreads that show the beauty of the region, the character's fears, and the growing awareness of where she is and what she is going through.
